Original drawings included in Tend My Sheep are the inspired work of Tamir Dugermaa, a dear friend of Dr. Gerald and Frances Mitchum and valued staff member of V.E.T. Net in Mongolia. Tamir’s drawings testify to the human realities of those who live, work, teach, and worship in the hauntingly beautiful yet unforgiving steppes of Mongolia, a land that despite the encroachment of modern tools and methods has remained virtually unchanged for thousands of years.
